Tenor, Robert P. Banks<\/strong>, is a singer and actor who is\u00a0equally at home on the operatic and musical theater stages. Banks has established himself a strong asset to the Minnesota performing arts community as an ensemble member and New Works Initiative participant at Minnesota Opera<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Additionally, he has been\u00a0adding more roles to his repertoire, including; Gabriel <\/strong>in\u00a0Kiss of the Spider Woman<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>with Teatro del Pueblo<\/strong>, and\u00a0Rolf Gruber<\/strong> in\u00a0The Sound of Music<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>and Almanzo Wilder<\/strong> in\u00a0Little House on the Prairie<\/strong>\u00a0<\/em>with\u00a0Frosted Glass Creative.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Originally from Georgia, Banks spent six years with The Atlanta Opera<\/strong> as an ensemble member and featured soloist. He performed as Giuseppe <\/strong>in La Traviata<\/strong> <\/em>and French Soldier Number 1<\/strong> in Silent Night<\/em> <\/strong>on their main stage at The Cobb Energy Center.<\/em> He was also cast in the Atlanta Opera Studio Tour<\/strong> as The Witch<\/strong> in Hansel and Gretel<\/strong><\/em> and Frederic <\/strong>in The Pirates of Penzance<\/strong><\/em>.
